The Theatre Program's mission is to enable students to develop fundamental skills in the multiple elements of theatre as a collaborative art. Our program is designed to develop fundamental skills in the student actor through vocal training, improvisation, the study of plays and their construction, musical theater, play production, costuming, theatrical choreography, set design, and play-writing. In addition to classroom experiences, through the International Thespian Society, students attend and compete in  drama festivals, state conferences, workshops, special performances, and outstanding theatrical performances. Upon completing the program, students are given the opportunity to audition for theatre programs from several accredited undergraduate theatre programs across the nation.
